The patchwork problem
If you run an Australian migration agency, your stack probably looks something like this: a CRM you don't fully use, a folder of Word document templates, a spreadsheet (or three) tracking every client's visa status, a calendar full of reminder events, payment terms scribbled in a notebook, and a few group chats holding the rest of the operation together.
That stack works. It also leaks. Documents get pulled from outdated templates. A reminder fires the day after a deadline. A payment terms conversation lives in someone's inbox, not the file. A new staff member needs two weeks to understand "how we do things here." Multiply that across 50-200 active matters and the cost shows up as missed work, awkward client conversations, and weekends spent reconciling.
We've been watching this pattern for a while. NextOra is the result.
What NextOra is
NextOra is a workflow platform built specifically for Australian migration agents. One system holds your visa pipeline, document generation, client communication, payment plans, and team coordination. No more switching between five tabs to answer one question. No more "wait, which spreadsheet has this?"
Built around the realities of Australian migration practice:
- Visa types, lodgement workflows, and DOHA correspondence patterns that match how you already work
- Document templates that pull live client data, so updating a client detail updates every doc that uses it
- Payment plans, deposits, and milestone billing tracked next to the matter, not in a separate accounting tool
- A team view that shows what's blocked, what's overdue, and what's moving — without anyone having to ask in chat
- Branch support, so each office or location can operate as its own tenant under one parent agency
Who it's for
Single-agent practices, mid-size agencies (5-15 RMAs), and multi-branch firms running multiple physical locations. If you bill by matter and your operations live in spreadsheets, we've designed this around you.
We're starting in the Wollongong / Illawarra region (where we're based) and rolling out across NSW from there. We work closely with our first cohort to make sure the product fits real-world practice before we go wider.
What's next
We're in pre-launch right now. Early access starts soon — if you're a registered migration agent or running an agency and you want to be in the first cohort, get on the list via the contact form. We'll reach out personally to talk through your workflow before any onboarding.
You can follow this blog for product updates, build notes from the team, and the occasional deep dive on migration agency operations. Nothing fluffy — we'll post when there's something worth saying.
Thanks for being here. We're just getting started.
